This project features a cover illustration created for the December issue of IKAR, the premier cultural guide for the city of Toruń. The goal was to capture the unique, festive atmosphere of the city during the winter season and translate its vibrant energy into a single, cohesive visual narrative.
My illustration focuses on the historic Wilam Horzyca Theatre, one of Toruń’s most iconic architectural landmarks. Surrounding the theater is the lively "city hustle" of the pre-Christmas rush, depicting the charm of holiday preparations and the movement of urban life. To ground the piece in local heritage, I also included subtle nods to Toruń’s most famous tradition—traditional gingerbread.
The final artwork serves as a visual tribute to the city's cultural heartbeat and the magical, busy spirit of December.
